Information Technology as a Strategy in Teaching Composition in the Rural Areas

Abstract

One of the basic contents of elementary school Chinese teaching is composition teaching, which is based on the accumulation of written language and students' subjective thinking to express what they see, hear, think and feel. Composition is an indispensable link in primary school Chinese teaching, and its teaching quality determines the final result of primary school Chinese teaching. By reading a large number of references, this study investigates the current situation of Chinese composition in Jinji Township Central Primary School in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province, finds that composition teaching methods are traditional and single, students have limited knowledge of composition teaching, and the teaching environment is monotonous, and points out the necessity of using information technology for situational teaching of composition in rural primary schools. On this basis, the situational teaching strategy and the situational teaching steps based on information technology are proposed.
