The modeling of production loss helps design and manage the production system effectively. In this paper, a new modeling method was proposed for the modeling of production loss during the warming in serial Bernoulli production lines. This research is established based on the transient analysis of production systems, based on which the production loss is represented by the difference between the expected production performance and the actual. The feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated through the numerical cases. Comparison with the simulation results indicate that this method is accurate. Abstract
