Abstract
According to the ‘Immunization Summary’ published by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of infants who died within one year of life in 2013 was 8,000 in North Korea (Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea, DPRK) and 1,000 in South Korea (Republic of Korea, ROK) [1].
