Abstract
The competency test for midwives uses the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) which is a reliable, valid and reliable assessment method because it uses two methods, namely a checklist and a global rating. a However, this OSCE method has weaknesses such as human resources and available facilities and infrastructure. Most of the lecturers have not been trained so that the ability to do the OSCE test is still lacking. The results of the evaluation of the OSCE test activities at STIKes Mitra RIA Husada Jakarta show that some testers feel that the tools used in determining scores such as the Borderline regression method and global performance are still not practical. And the data was collected using excel. Therefore, the researcher wants to develop OSCE competency test assessment tools using an Android-based application so that the exam can be carried out more efficiently and effectively.Specific Objective: To assess the effectiveness of OSCE midwifery tools which will be developed at STIKes Mitra RIA HusadaThis study uses an evaluation method using the User Experience Questionnare (UEQ) instrument. The UEQ questionnaire in the Indonesian version consists of 26 items with a sample of 40 midwifery lecturers who have received OSCE training. From the research that has been analyzed in development, an OSCE application has been produced for website-based midwifery practice test assessment. The results from the UEQ show that the average result is above 1, meaning that it is good enough, including the attractiveness of the application above the average (1.00), the accuracy of the application below average (1.06), application stimulation is good (1.14), and novelty is also stated to be good (1.88). Only in terms of application clarity is below average (0.92), in terms of efficiency it is above average (0.93). Conclusion: OSCE application development is very possible to be used as an instrument to test OSCE. aspects of clarity that are still lacking will be corrected again.
