Results: Tau angle and Beta angle were noted to be most predictable for differentiating Class I, Class II and Class III, MKG angle was found to be less predictable for differentiating samples. Abstract

For orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning there are various ways to assess the jaw discrepencies. Using various parameters such as ANB, Wit’s appraisal, Beta, Yen, and W angles, with some limitations. To overcome these, MKG angle and Tau angle were proposed.
