Abstract

The main purpose of the present study was to model the relationship between meteorological factors and fine dead fuel moisture in Taiwan red pine (Pinus taiwanensis) forests. The study was conducted in Shei Pa and Yushan National Parks of Taiwan. Fuel moisture data were collected hourly on the sampled day by direct measurement of Taiwan red pine lifter samples.
