To find out and analyze the factors thathave become obstacles to the implementation of forced efforts against a suspect in the crime of narcotics abuse by the PohuwatoPolice Narcotics Unit Investigator. The research method used is empirical legal research methods. The results of this study arethe implementation of coercive efforts against suspected criminal acts of narcotics abuse by the Pohuwato Police NarcoticsUnit Investigator, namely based on the KUHAP rules and also based on the National Police Regulation Number 6 of 2019concerning criminal investigation which consists of several actions, namely: arrest attempt, search effort, effort Confiscationand detention attempts. Factors that have become obstacles to the implementation of coercive efforts against suspected criminalacts of narcotics abuse by the Pohuwato Police Narcotics Unit Investigators are the family of suspects who prevented thesearch, suspected drug dealers using new methods such as techniques or a disconnected cell system. Lack of human resourcesor less personnel than the Narcotics Unit of Pohuwato Police. The budget allocation is still minimal. The area of PohuwatoRegency.
