Martin Gaite entendio que la enunciacion lirica, por encima del uso del verso o de la prosa, radica en un tratamiento temporal de la experiencia humana, que hace caso omiso de una imagen del tiempo concebida como un continuum y saca a flote los vertices decisivos de la existencia. Abstract: This article analyzes a mode in Carmen Martin Gaite’s work which has received little critical attention: her poetry. And shows that it is not a marginal aspect, but rather that it complements and illuminates her narrative, essayistic and autobiographical texts, such as Cuadernos de todo.
