Resumen: En este articulo se presenta el Corpus de novelas de la Edad de Plata, una coleccion de 358 novelas publicadas por autores espanoles entre 1880 y 1939. La seleccion de textos sigue criterios fijados por manuales de literatura. Los textos han sido codificados en XML-TEI, formato que tambien recoge los metadatos revisados de manera manual y las anotaciones linguisticas realizadas por herramientas automaticas. El conjunto de datos permite realizar descripciones estadisticas, evaluar hipotesis propuestas por otros investigadores o explorar nuevas correlaciones. Finalmente, se daran descripciones semanticas de diferentes subgeneros de la novela. Abstract: In this paper the Corpus of Novels of the Spanish Silver Age is presented, a collection of 358 novels published by Spanish authors between 1880 and 1939. The selection of the texts follows criteria from the studies of literature. The texts have been encoded in XML-TEI. In this format are also saved the manually curated metadata and the linguistic annotations by automatic tools. The data set allows calculating statistical descriptions of the novel, evaluate hypotheses by other researchers or explore new correlations. Finally, it will be presented semantic descriptions about several subgenres of the novel.

Resumen: El articulo repasa, en primer lugar, las principales caracteristicas del genero steampunk, asi como la evolucion historica, sus problemas de adscripcion, sus implicaciones ideologicas o la naturaleza transversal de su discurso, entre otros aspectos. En segundo lugar, y una vez vista la naturaleza hibrida y posmoderna del genero, estudia el desarrollo semiotico que el steampunk plantea a proposito de la resignificacion de la relacion sujeto-objeto desde una optica postcapitalista y deconstructiva, poniendo para ello ejemplos concretos. Abstract: This article will address, first of all, the main features of the steampunk genre, as well as its historical evolution, its problems of ascription, its ideological implications and the transverse nature of its discourse, among other aspects. Secondly, and once the hybrid and postmodern nature of this genre has been stablished, the article will analyse the semiotic development which steampunk sets out regarding the resignification of the subject-object relation from a postcapitalist and deconstructive point of view, providing specific examples.

Resumen: Los casos clínicos son un género propio de las comunidades de profesionales de la salud que se basa en la experiencia clínica de uno o unos pocos pacientes. A diferencia de otros autores, consideramos que tienen una naturaleza principalmente narrativa y que, por lo tanto, se pueden caracterizar por una estructuración en los cinco apartados canónicos de la narración: situación inicial, nudo, (re)acción o evaluación, desenlace y situación final. Verificamos la presencia de estos componentes en un caso clínico prototípico del campo de la neurología, comparándolos con sus análogos en textos provenientes del género reconocidamente narrativo de los cuentos clínicos.Abstract: Clinical case reports are a genre developed within the communities of healthcare professionals and based on the clinical experience of one or a few patients. Unlike other authors, we consider that they have a mainly narrative nature and, therefore, can be characterized by a structure following the five canonical sections of the narrative: initial situation, node, (re) action or evaluation, denouement and final situation. We verify the presence of these components in a prototypical clinical case report from the field of neurology, comparing them with analogous samples of another genre that is widely recognised as narrative: clinical tales.

Resumen: En este articulo, se estudia la presencia de la cultura y literatura portuguesas en las publicaciones periodicas del Instituto de Cultura Hispanica: Mundo Hispanico, Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos y, fundamentalmente, Correo Literario, la mas interesante a este respecto. Haremos un catalogo exhaustivo de los contenidos portugueses en el arco de tiempo elegido (1948-1955) y valoraremos cuales fueron los condicionantes ideologicos y esteticos que determinaron la recepcion de la cultura portuguesa, asi como el papel que la literatura del pais vecino desempeno en sus paginas. Abstract: This essay aims to study the reception of portuguese culture and literature in “Instituto de Cultura Hispanica” magazines during the years 1948-1955: Mundo Hispanico, Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos and Correo Literario, the most interesating one in this respect. We will catalogue every text of the corpus in order to establish which ideological and aesthetical variables determined the reception of portuguese culture and which function it played in these magazines.
