The conclusions of the study give the minimum required protection distances for coexistence deployment of 5G systems with FSS earth stations at different frequency intervals. Abstract

Some countries and regions are currently considering 5G services in the 3.5 GHz band, and the widespread deployment of 5G systems may cause interference to Fixed Satellite Service (FSS) earth stations operating in adjacent frequency bands.
