It involved three types of cement: Portland CEM I 42,5 R cement, Portland slag CEM II/B-S 32,5 R cement and CEM III/A 42,5 N LH/HSR/NA blast cement. The composition of the concrete mixtures were designed and evaluated experimentally. Test samples were prepared in laboratory conditions. The maturation period took 28 days for concrete with CEM I 42,5 R and CEM II/B-S 32,5 R, and 56 days for CEM III/A 42,5 N LH/HSR/NA cement. After maturation the samples were tested for: compressive strength, bending tensile strength and splitting tensile strength, water absorption and frost resistance. It was found that each of the concrete meets the requirements for road concrete listed in the GDDKiA technical specification [Ogólna Specyfikacja Techniczna... 2014]. Abstract
