Main aims and objectives of Bodoland Movement was to create an Autonomous Self Governing body known as BTC, to provide constitutional protection under sixth schedule to the autonomous body, to fulfill economic, educational, social, political and linguistic aspirations, preservation of socio-cultural, land-rights and ethnic identity of the Bodos and infrastructure development in BTC area. Under the leadership of Upendra Nath Brahma (father of Bodoland Movement) ABSU launched a social a social movement. National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) and Bodo Liberation Tigers (BLT) occurred for creation of sovereign separate state. This paper analysis to make a comprehensive study on the various aspect of the Bodoland Movement launched by All Bodo Student Union (ABSU) for establishment of separate State in the North bank of the Brahmaputra River.
