This technology has various elements, but the most important element is the immersion element, which can give users the sensation to feel as if they are in a real environment. In this research, the authors examine the effects of virtual reality when combined with horror games. The selection of horror games was made because this genre is one of the genres with the fastest immersion element compared to other game genres. In addition to the use of virtual reality technology, considering that horror games require complex particle simulations and good lighting, the authors use the Unreal Engine as the main engine in this game. The test method used in this study is the beta testing method with the assessment using the user acceptance method. Abstract

Currently, games are an important part of human life. Not only serves as entertainment, games nowadays also serve as education, communication, socialization, and even a job for some people. This makes technology in the game world more developed and closer to reality. One of the popular and interesting technologies is virtual reality. 虚拟现实技术在恐怖生存游戏中的应用及影响
目前,游戏是人类生活的重要组成部分。如今的游戏不仅是一种娱乐,还可以作为教育、交流、社交,甚至是一些人的工作。这使得游戏世界中的技术更加发达,更接近现实。虚拟现实是一种流行而有趣的技术。这项技术有各种各样的元素,但最重要的元素是沉浸元素,它可以给用户一种仿佛置身于真实环境中的感觉。在这项研究中,作者研究了虚拟现实与恐怖游戏相结合的效果。之所以选择恐怖游戏,是因为与其他游戏类型相比,这类游戏具有最快的沉浸感元素。除了使用虚拟现实技术外,考虑到恐怖游戏需要复杂的粒子模拟和良好的光照,作者在本游戏中使用了虚幻引擎作为主要引擎。本研究采用的测试方法为beta测试法,评估采用用户接受度法。结论是,虚拟现实技术与虚幻引擎的优势相结合,使游戏玩家获得了更紧张的氛围。
