Abstract
The article mentions the need to transform economic activities to reduce environmental risks. The green economy is considered as a new vector of sustainable development, which contributes to the improvement of human well-being and ensures social equality. Current crises in the world and the measures needed to overcome them are given. The level of state funding and its role in the transition to a green economy are analyzed. The role of the green economy in the fight against poverty and the role of investments in the development of the green economy are mentioned. The paper presents the necessary measures for a successful transition to a green economy.
