The purposes of this study are to identify the high-risk situation that can occur to the employers at the docking area. The analysis methods used are descriptive analysis and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). The results showed that many employees of the docking area lack awareness of job safety procedures. Fatal failure could occur during docking operations, and it is caused by the dock staff not being familiar with the safety equipment used on heights. Abstract

A shipyard is where ship construction, repair, and maintenance are carried out. Job incidents commonly happen because of human error and lack of security.
