Based on USB serial communication protocol, the computer data acquisition hardware platform of three-dimensional machining force measurement and analysis system is built. The measurement and analysis software system is developed under Microsoft visual studio development environment, which includes several function software packages, such as turning force testing software package, milling force testing software package, grinding force testing software package, drilling force testing software package. With these software packages, machining force of different processing types could be monitored online and processed offline both in time domain and in frequency domain. The machining force regression models could be established by using single factor analysis method. The three-dimensional milling force testing experiments results show that the flexible testing and analysis system could meet the three-dimensional cutting test of different processes, and the regression models coincide with the cutting force variation law.
