Abstract

Compositions of nominal formula, SrFe1-xTixO3-δ (x = 0 - 0.8) were prepared by solid state method and characterized by X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopic studies. Electrical conductivities of these samples were studied at different temperatures in three different oxygen concentrations. Thin films of SrFe0.2Ti0.8O3-δ and SrFe0.35Ti0.65O3-δ were deposited on polycrystalline alumina using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. These films were found sensing changes in percentage levels of oxygen concentration. The optimum operating temperature of the sensor was found to be 698 K.
