Abstract

The expression of alleles encoding the enzymes lactate dehydrogenase (LDH; EC 1.1.1.27) and sorbitol dehydrogenase (SDH; EC 1.1.1.14) was investigated in the redtail rasbora (Rasbora borapetensis), the eyespot rasbora (R. dorsiocellata), and in their reciprocal hybrids, by acrylamide gel electrophoresis.
