Abstract
The author discusses the emergence and meaning of ideas as a goal and destination of any empirical quantity, and as bearers of ontological completeness. The theses of various philosophers who have considered the idea as a concept are shown. A transition is made to the understanding of the term today, as well as to the attempts for using the ideal for the purposes of various contemporary ideologies.
