This paper analysis a gearless variable speed wind turbine system with Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). Modelling and simulation of the gearless variable speed wind turbine scheme with PMSG is implemented by utilizing MATLAB/Simulink software. Results shows that the wind turbine has the capability to sustain an electric-power scheme.
