Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the δ13C and δ15N variability of megafauna and the large extinct fauna that lived in southern Patagonia during Pleistocene-Holocene transition. δ13C and δ15N values from bone collagen of Hippidion saldiasi, Mylodontidae, Lama gracilis and Lama guanicoe from the AEP-1 site in Piedra Museo locality between ca. 12.8 and 9.2 ka BP are presented.
