Abstract
Propagation effects relating to rainfall remote sensing at X-band are examined using data from an event which occurred during a six-month rain measurement campaign in Greeley, Colorado. The campaign involved three disdrometers, a rain gauge, and polarimetric radar measurements at S and X bands. Attenuation correction schemes using well-established procedures are applied to the radar data.
