The purpose of AGC controller is used to maintain zero steady state error in frequency deviation. The role of AVR is to hold terminal voltage magnitude of the generator at a preset value. In this paper, simulation of AGC and AVR has been carried out using PID, IMC , FLC and FLC-IMC in MATLAB environment and the simulation results have been presented. Also, a comparative analysis of different conventional and intelligent controllers has been done. Abstract
