Abstract

The design of any stepped planning hull configuration is complex and the design of Dynaplane craft is no different and even more complex. The potential for the Dynaplane concept is clearly demonstrated by theory, but the practical superiority has not yet been conclusively demonstrated to the marine industry which is typically sceptical about adopting unconventional advanced technology.
