IMPLEMENTASI PERATURAN DAERAH KOTA MEDAN NOMOR 5 TAHUN 2015 TENTANG PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN DI KOTA MEDAN

Abstract

Poverty is still one of the main problems for developing countries, including Indonesia. Poverty is not only measured by income, but also includes the vulnerability and vulnerability of people or groups of people, both men and women, to become poor, and the limited access of the poor in determining public policies that impact their lives. The purpose of this study is to determine local government policies in overcoming poverty in the city of Medan. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative analysis and data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. Based on this research, it is known that the implementation of Medan city regional regulation number 5 of 2015 concerning poverty alleviation in the city of Medan has been effective. However, in reality there are many wealthy people who live in flats. Rusunawa should be occupied by underprivileged people to get adequate facilities and infrastructure so that government assistance programs can run well. This is what makes the problem of the Rusunawa not being firm in dealing with this.
