Abstract
The parameters of toxicometry of disinfectants based on sodium hypochlorite obtained by chlorination of an aqueous solution of caustic soda (31 agents) and by electrochemical method – 10 anoliths were established. Based on the determination of the chlorine content in the air, recommendations are given for the safe use of these disinfectants: for surface treatment by wiping and disinfection of air and surfaces by aerosol spraying using a special device – an aerosol generator that provides dispersion of aerosol particles of 5–50 microns. A working solution of sodium hypochlorite with an active chlorine content of 0.015?% is recommended for use by wiping in the presence of people. Keywords: disinfectants, sodium hypochlorite, anolytes, toxicity, irritant effect, inhalation hazard, aerosol, laboratory animals.
