Abstract

Purpose: This paper aims to discuss a new dance creation entitled "Nataka Bhinna" which comes from a cross-gender phenomenon. Research method: Using Balinese gamelan and MIDI (musical instrument digital interface), the dance is presented with stage choreography at Museum Puri Lukisan Ubud. Its analysis uses imagination theory, aesthetic theory, and semiotic theory.
