The results showed that only 23% of the total land area in Shaanxi Province maintains a good or better grade of the ECC. However, 50% of the total area is of a bad or worse grade of ECC. From the spatial distribution, the ECC gradually decreased from the south to the north with exception in a few areas, which presented the obvious characteristics of terrain. 层次分析法(AHP)在多指标评价方面具有特殊优势,地理信息系统(GIS)在空间分析方面具有优势。AHP与GIS的结合为区域环境承载力评价研究提供了有效的手段。针对陕西省生态系统的区域特点,建立了包括生态弹性、资源承载力和环境承载力因子在内的综合评价指标体系。在GIS的支持下,以城市为评价单位,建立了陕西省生态环境保护信息系统数据库。在数据库和评价体系的基础上,将层次分析法、ECC评价指标法和空间分析法融入到研究区ECC评价中。结果表明,陕西省只有23%的土地面积保持良好或较好的生态环境保护等级。然而,总面积的50%是坏或更差等级的ECC。从空间分布上看,除了少数区域外,ECC自南向北逐渐减少,呈现出明显的地形特征。结果表明,陕西省整体生态系统的现状处于较差水平,近年来强烈的人类活动加速了区域生态系统的退化。
