FORMATION OF SYSTEM OF INDICATORS FOR EVALUATING THE LEVEL OF TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPHERE OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article proposes a system of indicators to assess the level of technological development in the field of research and development (R&D). As an approach to the study, a complex (integral) assessment is used. The initial information constituted the data of Rosstat, the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (UIISS), the portal «Scientific and Technological Infrastructure of the Russian Federation». The analysis identified five groups of interrelated indicators that make up the composite index, which characterizes the level of technological development of the field of research and development at the regional level. In addition, existing information gaps were identified and suggestions for their elimination were formulated.
