Abstract
The aim of reactive event management is to counter the effect of an event that has occurred, to influence the situation in terms of a solution. Based on the experience of the Institute of Military Geography, a process model of event management is presented, individual phases are described and their optimization options are shown. These optimization possibilities are accompanied by examples of military geography in a national and international context.
