Abstract
Fuel subsidies become a key element of the economy. The objective of this research work was to analyze the incidence of the fuel subsidy in the structuring of costs of the mass transport sector in Ecuador, which has proven to be one of the most dynamic sectors for the country’s economy. The reduction of the fuel subsidy has currently caused serious problems for a part of society.
