Abstract

The paper describes a simple, sensitive, and selective spectroscopy method for the determination of Fe by curcumin reagent and iron(III). In acid media, a 1:2 complex was formed; its properties were identified by UV-VIS, FTIR, Raman, and MS spectra. The maximum absorbance of UV-Vis spectra appeared at 518 nm.
