The results revealed that, on the perception of the participants, the institution still has many barriers to accessibility, however, the participants believe that the university is trying to eliminate those obstacles, especially the ones related to architectonic, making adaptations and constructions such as: ramps, parking lots, adapted bathrooms, and others. Abstract

This study has the objective to verify the of accessibility conditions in a public institution located in the state of Parana, starting from the perception of employees with disabilities. Seven employees of the respective university, who declares themselves as having disabilities participated in the research. The data was collected using semi structured interviews.
