Abstract
A power system served by alternative energy sources to be deployed separately from the conventional power grid must be able to form a local power grid (also called a Microgrids), in which the load of this grid must be served in such a way that the concern with the degradation of the Electric Power Quality (PQ) indices is evidenced through studies that aim to characterize the state of operation of such electrical grid. In this sense, the proposition of solutions to improve the quality and continuity of service of the isolated Microgrids with intermittent generation integrated are extremely important. In this work, the results of the development of a simulation modelling using the PSCAD / EMTDC software to analyze and evaluate the impacts of several integration scenarios of intermittent generators in the Microgrid installed at the Lençóis Island community are presented.
