Abstract
The growth of the new social stratums has been benefited from the establishment and continuous improvement of the socialist market economy system in China. The socialist market economy system provides various institutional supports for the development of the new social stratums. In this context, the new social stratums with the unique characteristics make themselves become the new sources of social vitality.
