Abstract

Lightning can cause severe damage to aircraft, lightning direct effect test is very important for research of spacecraft material, design of structure of aircraft, but the limitation of the measuring technology and special test apparatus has become the technical bottleneck. Lightning current components for lightning direct effect test consist of component A (initial strode), component B (Intermediate current), component C (Continuing current) and component D (Restrike). Lightning current components A and D can be produced by the type of RLC circuit and crowbar circuit.
