The variation of IC flashes and total lightning are synchronous. More than 96.69% of the height of IC flashes are below 15 km, while 7 km to 10 km is the maximum probability area of IC flashes. A total lightning activity process lasting 5 hours occurred on August 19, 2014 at pearl river delta in China is analyzed in detail.
