Abstract

Recently, AI-based CAD systems for the gastrointestinal endoscopy have been approved and implemented in clinical fields along with the increased AI application in medical fields. In other endoscopies, AI is expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis as well, though there is little research on their clinical applications. In summary, this paper describes the concept of AI-based image diagnostic support in endoscopies to demonstrate how AI technology can be applied to various types of endoscopies, furthering its research and development.
