The Estoppel Doctrine within the Framework of the Principle of Good Faith in the Judicial Practice of the Russian Federation

Abstract

This article discusses the application of the principle of “estoppel” in the judicial practice of the Russian Federation. The author reveals the concept of the estoppel doctrine in the context of the principle of good faith. Based on the analysis of court decisions, a conclusion is made about a change in the traditional understanding of the estoppel doctrine in the realities of the modern judicial system.
