Abstract

For internet of things (IoT) implementation based on upcoming fifth generation (5G) mobile networks, the spectrum sensing (SS) capabilities should be considered following the related standards. In this paper, the technical challenges are addressed for blind, non-blind, coarse and fine SS to merge the cognitive radio (CR) advantages and capabilities with IoT nodes.
