Different part of these plants contains numerous types of chemical constituents such as flavonoids, alkaloids, quercetin, kaempferol, sterols, cynogenic glycoside, with diverse pharmacological activities. Moreover, these plants show, anti-microbial activity, analgesic, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, anti-diuretic and anti-diabetic activities.
