The results of analysis of covariance indicated that there were significant differences between the mindful hypnotherapy and waitlist control groups after intervention and at 2-month follow-up (<i>p</i> < .001). The between-subject test of repeated measures ANOVAs also indicated a clinically significant difference between groups across time (baseline, postintervention, and 2-month follow-up) in depression, <i>F</i> = 53.86, <i>p</i> < .001, effect size = .65, and in self-compassion, <i>F</i> = 33.18, <i>p</i> < .001, effect size = .53, as well as psychological inflexibility, <i>F</i> = 26.84, <i>p</i> < .001, effect size = .48.
