Sculpins aged from 1+ to 7+ years, total length (TL) 4.5–19.5 cm long, and weighing 0.8–111.0 g were registered in catches. It is known that during the first three years of life, body sizes of males and females of this species are comparable, but from the fourth year onwards, females grow much faster; that’s the reason why length and weight of fish with the same age may be significantly different.
