Integrated in-Station Optimization of Industrial Thermal Power Plants
The article discusses the on-site optimization algorithm of industrial thermal power plants with heterogeneous generating sources with capacities ranging from a few to tens of megawatts. The optimization algorithm is based on a dynamic programming method in combination with a modified sequential equivalent method. The optimization criterion is the minimum of the reduced cost of steam required for the generation of electrical power, going to the heating and production selections, as well as its own needs. As a result of the optimization task, the economically feasible loads of generators and power boilers are determined. The main initial data for optimization are technical and economic models of turbine generators and boiler units, which represent the dependence of the active or thermal power on the cost of a unit of fresh steam. The models are constructed in tabular form and take into account the operating characteristics of power plants. Optimization calculations are carried out for normal, repair and after-failure operation of electrical installations.
