The aim of the paper is to evaluate research questions, methodologies and theori- es through the framework of the “didactical tetrahedron” metaphor. The analysis has showed that it is necessary to synthesize and integrate the previous theore- tical framework on learning mathematics with the help of information technolo- gies. Even though there is a significant number of research questions related to learning mathematics using technologies, a lot of questions remain unanswered.
