By adjusting the ion doping concentration of the gain medium in the core, the gain characteristics of the EYDFA are theoretically analyzed. In the experiment, through the setup of the cladding pumped optical amplifier system, the absorption value of the fiber to 976nm pump light reaches 2.06db/m, and the average gain of 29dB is obtained in the 1531-1567nm band.
