Um estudo sobre a percepção do clima organizacional entre os servidores da UFCA
The Organizational Climate (OC) is characterized as perceptions that employees create and share about the organization in which they operate. Climate research assists managers in identifying points of improvement and consequently affects the decision-making process. Institutions of Higher Education need to be attentive to the climate as a source of competitiveness. Therefore, the present study aims to evaluate the perception of OC amongst technical and teaching staff at the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA). For this purpose, the scale Organizational Climate and Well-being (IES-B) was applied. The study sample was comprised of 58 were teachers and 65 technical staff. Results verified that the UFCA has a satisfactory Climate. However, aspects of the structure dimension need to be improved (mean=3.30). Indications of links and collaboration amongst co-workers were present (mean=4.16). The managerial dimension was also evaluated positively. Finally, it was observed that technical staff presented a more positive perception of OC than teachers.
