The author reveals the place and role of research competence as a component in the structure of the teacher’s publication in school, substantiating the need to build constructive conditions for the teacher’s scientific work in the general education system. In the process of research, a system of empirical methods was applied – the monitoring results “Belogord’ye Graduate. Teacher of the Belgorod region”. The purpose of this project is to determine the position of teachers of the Belgorod region to participate in scientific and publishing work.
