Harmonic Sequence Impedance of Multiphase Underground Cables
This paper presents a new model of multiphase underground cables for the mrnputation of harmonic impedana. The unique features of this model indude explicit representation of the grounding configuration and terminal; substation grounds, and the distribution earth currents. A segmentation method is employcd to compute the cable and earth current distribution. Other properties of the model arc: (1) aaura te frequency dependent parameter representation from DC to several MHz, (2) explicit modeling of asymmetries, and (3) high numerical efficiency. The model implementation is based on direct solution of the transmission line differential equations.
