The designed reflectarray antenna operating at 12.5 GHz doesn't contain any dielectric substrate by using a modified slot structure. The slot-type element is optimized to provide a linear phase curve and a phase-shift range in excess of 360 degrees is achieved. With an offset feed configuration, a 9×9 elements reflectarray antenna is designed and simulated.
